What matters most, now?

A collective pause for nourishment and perspective, six months after the fires.

The HUB at Sonoma State University, Sonoma County Rises, CommonwealSchool House Distribution Center and NewStories invite you to take a moment to connect with others, to share stories and perspectives, to eat with one another, and listen for what matters most now, six months after the fires.

Many of the pressing needs for emergency and rescue are moving along, and much work remains. There are, of course, many lingering questions of what all of this means for the region’s future.

What have we learned? What challenges and opportunities are more clear?

What matters most, now?

Let’s listen closely and respectfully to one another so we can move forward together as a community.

Dinner, facilitation, music, poetry and other creative forms of expression – No Charge. Come join us!

Who is this for?

We are inviting those of you who have been out there doing the important work of healing, reimagining and rebuilding Sonoma County after the fires. Everyone is welcome and we explicitly invite young people.
